Rick Perry: Now the most hated person in America?
(CYBERSPACE) — Presidential hopeful Rick Perry appears to have had nothing more than a baffling week in it’s whole. The GOP main-man released a new ‘Anti-Gay‘ ad over the popular video sharing network Youtube over the weekend which eventually resulted in his claiming the title of the most disliked video of all time (behind Justin Bieber + the original Rebecca Black ‘Friday’).
UPDATE: It appears that Perry’s camp is unable to handle the speech of the American public on his ‘Heartfelt’ service announcement entitled strong on Youtube. Therefore, his comments have been disabled on his video. How ‘Brave’ is that?
Inside the video, Perry compares gay service men to children whom are unable to celebrate Christmas in school or practice religion. However, it appears Perry seems to be a little out of touch with the younger generation [better yet those who do celebrate Christmas].
A good percentage of the children in the United States do in fact celebrate Christmas, minus those who don’t due to religious beliefs. All the while, he also claimed that ‘Religion‘ is unable to be practiced in educational institutions by American youth too…..
Problem? When was the last time Perry stepped into a high school? Religion is often practiced in several different groups throughout a general high school found in the most cities around the United States. In certain schools — they even allow those whom are from the middle east to wear religious Turbans [Just an example].
The fact is — Rick justifies by himself in his video that his knowledge on the generality of the American society & it’s youth is very slim. Do we really want someone like Perry having even the smallest chance at 12′ Presidency? Someone who ridicules servicemen who risks their lives to protect & serve our country? Regardless of what they may be at home.
