(ATL) —  Atlanta police are currently investigating what is now being called the ‘Atlanta Crime Ring’  after not one crime but two crimes pretty much in the same time frame took place within city limits.

24 hours after rapper Slim Dunkin was gunned down in a recording studio over a piece of candy — Yung Joc‘s recording studio in north Atlanta was robbed by three armed gun-men.

Authorities are currently looking into the situation considering the total costs of equipment boosted. Joc’s  reportedly out $50,000 in recording equipment after the heist.
