This week in history: Elvis Presley turns 77

Some 35 years after Presley’s death he still remains the most figurative musician in music history. In modern day, people in fact still boogy to his classic hits (and yes, sometimes at your wedding — admit it).

This week — is a big day in history for the city of Memphis for if Elvis himself were still alive he would’ve turned a whopping 77 years old.

The city itself will celebrate a 4 day long ‘Memorial’ celebration of the King’s life with events that brought Elvis into American history.
