James Hooker sparks police investigation

James Hooker, the 41-year-old controversial former teacher from Modesto, Calif has created his own status which we’ll call ‘Contro-lebrity’ as he is now in the midst of a bizarre police investigation to determine whether or not the relationship with his current girlfriend (18 year old Jordan Powers) begun before or after she turned of legal age.

“When you’re in an authoritative position as an educator, you don’t seduce your student. Period,” Tammie Powers told ABC News‘. Tammie, Jordan’s mum, has pitted herself against Mr.  Hooker in attempt to prove that he is  a ‘master manipulator’.

Hooker told the Sacramento Bee that he and his younger girlfriend often question their relationship, ‘Do we  follow our hearts, or make everyone else happy’?
