Advertisers jump ship in wake of Rush Limbaugh ‘Slut’ scandal
The popular radio show ‘The Rush Limbaugh‘ show is now without 3 of it’s biggest advertisers thanks to Limbaugh’s controversial comments referring to a young Georgetown law student as a ‘Slut’ because she feels contraception should be given to women everywhere, especially those in school.
One advertiser in specific ‘Sleep Train Mattress‘ took to their Twitter account around midnight last night to begin discussing the possibility of removing ads from Limbaugh’s show:
“We don’t condone negative comments directed toward any group. In response, we are currently pulling our ads from Rush with Rush Limbaugh,” the company Sleep Train Mattress Centers announced on its Twitter account early Friday.
