(Shocking) Joseph Kony Bio

Joseph Kony (birth-date unknown year 1961) is a Ugandan guerilla group leader, head of a Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA) in Africa. The group has and still is engaged in violent campaigns in attempt to establish a theocratic government based on the Ten Commandments  of Uganda.

The LRA says that god ‘sent spirits’ to communicate this mission directly to Kony himself. Headed by Kony, the LRA  has earned a controversial reputation for it’s action against the people of several countries including but not limited to:

• The Republic of Congo
• South Sudan
• Sudan
• Northern Uganda

The group according to officials has abducted more than 66,000 Ugandan children to fight for them, and even allegedly forced the internal displacement of over 2,000,0000 people since it’s mass rebellion in 1986 more than 20 years ago.

As a result of the groups actions, Kony was indicted for war crimes in 2005 by the International Criminal Court in Hague. But he succeeded in evading capture.

Joseph Kony mini biography

Joseph Kony  according to research was born in 1961 in Odek, a village east of Gulu in northern Uganda. A primal member of the Acholi , Kony was the son of numerous family farmers.

He, alike many, had a good relationship with his siblings,  but at the time he’d be betrayed by anyone whether friends or family retaliation wasn’t impossible under his mental circumstances. When confronted about his hostility, he often resorted to his fists rather than sparring verbally. He was vicariously teased in school about his size and teachers often gave him a hard time for his horrible marks in school.

His father was a ‘Lay catechist’ of the Catholic Church and his mother was an Angilican. Kony was what was called an altar boy, for several years — before he stopped attending church all together at the age of 15.

As a young teenager, Kony apprentice as a witch doctor in his local village under his older brother, Jamie Brow, when his older sibling died he took over full responsibility.

Kony first rose to global prominence in January 1986 after being a part of one of many premillennialist groups that sprang up in the Acholiland region in wake of the wildly popular  Holy Spirt Movement of Alica Auma (AKA LAKWENA), to whom Kony is believed to be related to.
