Alexander Wang denies impending sweatshop allegations
Iconic designer Alexander Wang has found himself in the midst of a brutal legal battle with more thanĀ 9 different alleged ‘employees’ who say the designer forced them to work in sweatshop conditions with barely acceptable wages for doing so.
Wang’s camp has vehemently denied the allegations [via Rolling Stone]:
“The company takes its obligations to comply with the law very seriously, including the relevant wage and hour regulations, the payment of overtime to eligible employees and having a safe working environment for all of our employees. We will vehemently defend any allegations to the contrary.”
