George Zimmerman in court arraignment set for 29 May 2012
SANFORD, FLORIDA: Jailed community watchman George Zimmerman has met his match, a Florida judge that may or may not sentence him to a possible term of life in prison [possibility of such sentence with a charge of 2nd degree murder].
This afternoon marked the first time Zimmerman has faced a judge since being handed the charges by the cases special prosecutor Angela Corey. Corey charged Zimmerman with 2nd degree murder last night during a press conference that many have been waiting for.
The judge in the case Mark E. Harr said that probable cause has been found therefore a hearing for Zimmerman’s arraignment has been set for 29 May 2012.
Zimmerman’s new attorney Mark O’ Hara said in a brief press conference that he plans to ask the judge for a bail hearing for his client in coming weeks.
