Has Ann Romney really had a job?
Today sparked an outcry of ‘outrage’ we’ll say after a Democratic strategist remarked that she believed Ann Romney had never held a job ever in her life, within the evening Romney shot back claiming she chose to stay at home to raise 5 boys and that surely is enough to ‘account for a job’.
This was what Rosen had to say about her:
What you have is, Mitt Romney running around the country saying, “Well, you know, my wife tells me that what women really care about are economic issues. And when I listen to my wife, that’s what I’m hearing.”
‘Guess what: his wife has actually never worked a day in her life. She’s never really dealt with the kind of economic issues that a majority of the women in this country are facing in terms of how do we feed our kids, how do we send them to school, and why do we worry about their future.
Supporters of Romney have shot back with remarks like raising children is a job enough, when in reality that isn’t the kind of job this woman was necessarily referring to.
In all actuality, Romney probably hasn’t had a job ever in her life. Yes, she’s raised children (5 of them, hoorah, kudos for that) but the real issue here is she’s very dependent on the fact that her and her family are millionaires. She, along with her husband Mitt do not understand the basic economic issues an average American has to go through every day.
