According to Technorati, the country of Iran may be the first ever country to create it’s own ‘clean’ version of the internet by censoring and filtering some of the world’s biggest services regardless of what it’s citizens may think.

Officials say that the move will be permanent and ongoing within the next five months, and will result in residents of the country having to apply to use the service with their applications being ran against state records.

The new service will not include things like: Hotmail, Facebook, Twitter, Gmail, Google Plus, Yahoo, Google, all of these services plus numerous others will be blocked accordingly to the new government regulations.
