Officials: 5 deaths counted in South Sudan
(SOUTH SUDAN, AFRICA) – According to Col. Phillip Aguer, a spokesperson for the Sudan People’s Liberation 5 people have been killed and five others have been wounded after an airplane reportedly dropped bombs this evening on a town in South Sudan.
With the confirmation of the deaths, the Sudanese military has vehemently denied any such attack on the town.
Abiemnom County in that state, as well as two counties in Warrap state, were also attacked Saturday, Aguer said.
However, according to Al-Sawarmi Khalid an official spokesperson for the Sudanese Armed Forces ‘We did not and have not carried any such attacks into South Sudan’
