Francois Hollande: A major left turn for France?

When Francois Hollande was elected the new president of France, many were enlightened at the fact that Nikolas Sarkozy was no longer under control of the country, but now many are questioning whether or not Hollande himself can handle the challenges that are ahead of him in coming weeks. What do you think?
President Francois Hollande has a busy schedule, meeting President Barack Obama on May 17th and a string of high profile political events around the globe in a matter of days.
But, events aside, let’s take a look at some of the key issues Hollande faces now being the President of a country that isn’t-doing-so-hot economic wise.
The French debt is a staggering 90% of GDP, the 2011 deficit was 5.2%. Holande has promised in 2013 to lower than to 3% and in 2017 to lower it again to zero. Nikolas Sarkozy however had promised a year earlier to do the exact same thing.
Can he do it?
That is only one of the many challenges Hollande faces, first and foremost attempting to convince a market that he can reform it to a financially fiscal economy to extend France’s growth as a bolstering country like it’s neighbors whom are already growing mighty fast.
The biggest hurdle Hollande faces with that challenge is the fact that countries like Spain have already fallen into recession slowly behind France, scratch that, 13 European countries have fallen into recession and France is nearly just one of them .
Leaders of other European countries have already begun asking for consolidated fixes on their economic woes.
Chime in! What do you think about Francois Hollande? Do you think he can get the once beloved and treasured country of France back on track without creating to many negatives but more positives?

Francois from a number of aspects seems a little strange for Presidential pick, but then again, this is France we’re talking about.
