Jamie Lynne Grumet defends weird TIME magazine cover
When you’re Jamie Lynne Grumet, apparently your child groping your right boob on a national magazine cover is the new craze. Grumet appeared on NBC’s ‘The Today Show‘ earlier today to defend her controversial TIME magazine cover that some advocates are saying is unhealthy for her child regardless of her own beliefs.
(See here) Grumet had a few things to say about her cover:
“I understand some of the breastfeeding advocates are actually upset about this,” Grumet said as Aram draped himself over her lap and whined. They feel that the cover didn’t show the nurturing side of attachment parenting, she explained as she stroked her son’s back, but “This isn’t how we breastfeed at home. It’s more of a cradling, nurturing situation.”
