UPDATED: Gavin Smith case dubbed a criminal homicide
According to numerous reports, the disappearance of veteran movie executive Gavin Smith has been dubbed a criminal homicide. Smith disappeared earlier this month, after having been last seen driving away from a pal’s home in his Black 2000 Mercedes.
Smith’s family has set up a website in attempt to find him, before it’s too late.
Under California law, cases are not allowed to be changed to a criminal homicide unless a body has been discovered or the authorities have received a confession.
