Top Story: 2 Americans arrested following death of Irish woman in Tokyo hotel room
TOKYO, JAPAN (DAILY NEWS) — According to police, they have detained two American menĀ in connection to the death of an Irish exchange student in Tokyo.
Nicola Furlong, 21, was reportedly found dead in a hotel room with one of the men according to Tokyo police (translated).
The men, are not being charged in the death of Furlong — however they were arrested for improperly touching a friend of Furlong earlier the same day in a taxi-cab.
The 4 reportedly met at a concert where the young woman decided to attend the two men back to their hotel room. She was later killed. The hotel staff found Furlong unconscious after customers complained of loud noises coming from the room, police said.
