Harvard to offer free online classes
According to Harvard school officials, they’ve finally struck a deal to offer free online classes with an initiative called ‘EDX’ which will reportedly be available for all students around the world this fall.
The program, partnered with ‘MIT’ is already in the works and available courses are expected to be made known to the public during the summer — while courses themselves will start in the fall.
There is no admissions process, and no actual college credit given — however certificates are available to those who master the material for a ‘modest fee’.
