Why we use Google devices to keep our business powered
We’ve been in business for almost 3 years, and are still a blooming business growing day in and day out. Last month, we were faced with a choice as to which mobile device [tablet] we’d like to use to keep our business and staff members connected.
Evidently, we chose the Motorola [Google Android] XOOM tablet. We chose this because it screams fabulous, and it fits our every need as an international business. With staff members based in both the U.S and the U.K mobile phones aren’t always the most cost effective way to communicate overseas.
With this tablet, we’ve found so many pros that we absolutely love. Our favorite feature is by far the extensive Google Play store, that actually works on this device. Previous devices we’ve used don’t always play/launch every app correctly bought/downloaded from the Play store. We use things like Jorte, Google Calendar, Text Plus, Skype, KIK, and the app that brings us lots of joy [Yammer].
Granted, the tablet is a little large for most — but as young people who often carry handbags throughout our day [yes, even on the tube although it is dangerous sometimes] it works perfectly, mainly because for £80 it can be turned into a mobile data device perfect for work on the go.
[Bonus: It works that well because we can take our devices on the go, to reach breaking news as it happens].
