Mississippi’s only abortion clinic open by restraining order
JACKSON, MISSISSIPPI: A federal judge ruled on Friday that the Jackson Women’s Health Organization will stay open only by a temporary restraining order as a final bid to abide by the new law [which requires all doctors to be OBGYN's and have rights to conduct procedures at the local hospital].
The next hearing is scheduled for July 11th, in which a decision will be made as to whether or not the clinic can stay open.
Calls to the clinic went unanswered.
