When style star, Rachel Zoe, steps out with her son both dressed in beautiful Bohemian style, you know that the upcoming fashion season will be rocked with this trend. For this Fall 2012 style, Bohemian is making an appearance in a big way. With prints and flowing dresses, women are feeling feminine and free with this classic look. The key to this style is taking a comfortable look and accessorizing it in a way that turns it from drab to chic with ease.

Here are some of the top Bohemian dress styles that are a must have for your closet.

  • Flowing free – White is going to be a classic color that is expected to stay popular through this winter. Make your favorite white dress work for the Fall Bohemian trend by adding a chunky belt and some big gold accessories to transform it from plain to stunning with ease.
  • Add boots – Emily Maynard recently made the Bohemian style look easy as she visited her date in Utah. By adding some fun boots to her flowing dress, she quickly turned this style into one of the top looks of the entire season.
  • Fur-essential – Furs are essential this fall season. You can quickly turn your favorite maxi dress into a Bohemian star by adding some fur. Rachel Bilson makes this look easy with her black Maxi dress and fur trimmed jacket.
  • Fringed Purse – Add a little Bohemian spirit to any floral dress with an across the chest look of a classic fringed purse. This look is being sported by many celebrities including Joy Bryant who paired her purse and flowers with some fringed ankle boots as well to complete her look.
  • Add a Fedora Hat – Fedora hats have made a comeback in a huge way. Adding one to your favorite dress can give you an instantly updated look with a classic style.
  • Go Floral – Flower power has always been a classic Bohemian look. Wear your favorite floral dress with ease for a quick and simple fashion statement that is sure to make you stand out from the crowd.

Using any of these tips can instantly update your outfit and give you an easy way to be a part of the serious fall fashion Bohemian dress trends this year (just like my cousin in the photo below).

I really like her cut-off shirt though. That’s super cute, where did she get it?

Hi Amy, that’s her (my cousin’s) shirt. I dunno where she got, she probably thrifted it somehow but yeah so creative of her :)

      • Amy Tovias says:

I clearly wasn’t creative enough for that. That’s really cute though love that paired with that dress, and those cute sandals.

Anyone else notice this went viral like fast? I refreshed my page in 5 minutes a ton of new comments rolled in

  4. Zoey Marcel (UK) says:

They really need to get a translator for Derick, none of us are French and have no idea what he just said. On a lighter note, I think I just found my newest fav Daily News writer… Plz do Daily Fashion!! DN is iconic when it comes to fashion advice, I re-do my wardrobe every fall by what they tell me.

  5. Brianna Walton (UK) says:

Give it a month, this girl will be a hot commodity amongst Daily News. DN’s UK fans are big on fashion, this will hit the hot topics list by the afternoon guaranteed.

P.S that shirt is cute!! Did you make that yourself?

    • apinkbanana says:

Hi Brianna! I should have realized that I should have posted a photo of myself but anyway… yes, she (my cousin) did an amazing job with that shirt of hers :)

  6. Brandon Michaels (Manchester,UK) says:

Get it right, Daily News isn’t iconic they are legendary when it comes to teen fashion advice. They’re experience in this industry is un-matched to any other teen fashion advice/blog/etc in the United Kingdom.

  7. Ally Marsh-Thompson (Brighton, UK) says:

Can we talk about her purse though? That is cute. Very simple.

  8. Chelsea Allison Smiles says:

@Ally you can have the purse, I’ll take those adorable sandals. Yes, yes, and yes.

  9. Henessi Chandler Murray (London, UK) says:

I see the fashion heads are awake this morning. Bad bad kids, on your mobi’s during school… Wait I am too…. Who doesn’t read Daily News during school? LOL!…

I love the cropped like tee she’s got on, that’s a unique twist to a reg tee tho.

  10. Marissa Pollard (AU) says:

Lmao…. Traci texted me using tons of !!!!’s to check out this article. Totes love it. Got busted by my teach tho, he was like young lady why are you on your telefone? I snarkly replied I’m reading Daily News… Duh…

He walked away and didn’t take my phone :) Let the fashion commence.

  11. Traci Lakeli Fields says:

Aww look at Derick’s cute face next to this article. I wish he could understand what we were saying, I’d love to have heeeeeem and this new girl talk about fashion together but he doesn’t speak a lick of english :(

  12. Randell Laviet (DENMARK) says:

@Traci Your so right. Oh my god, that would be historic if he talked about fashion. This girl is a nice touch to Daily News though, I like the way she talks about fashion advice… + that bag is cute and looks simple too!

  13. Mark Jason II says:

Any idea what in the whooly mammoth Derick said? o.O. Gotta love him, but I think his translator took the day off. Normally he communicates in English, but not no more :( . Sounded like he said something about liking the fashion?something

  14. Maria Matias (Brighton) says:

Lol @ all the comments about the shirt, I get it though that is totes something I’d wear with like some short shorts and a cute pair of white sandals from the shopping centre downtown. Caaaauuuuute

  15. Andy Darcel (Liverpool) says:

She kind of looks like that one lass from Lemonade Mouth.

  16. Ferina says:

Hey guys, the bag and top were bought from a shop in Hong Kong :) I just forgot where.

  17. Mariah Gates (Portsmouth, UK) says:

I’m so happy they finally got a fashion contributor in here. Don’t get me wrong, I love getting fashion advice from boys they know more than most would expect but its wonderful to have a female! xx

  18. Ashley Harris (FR) says:

The comment board of this article proves it all. The UK fans of this news site made them what they are. Note how all of the commenters are from Derick’s home country of England¬! xx.

I really love this girls fashion advice though. I think I’ll keep that in mind when I go shopping this weekend for back to school :)

  19. Jasmine Vortega says:

She really does look like the girl from Scooby Doo… I forget what the actress name is tho :( . Her glasses are cute. Any idea where you find these kind of skirts in Brighton?

  20. Adam George Michaels says:

She should def do a ‘Back to School’ for both lads and females. If she’s got this kind of advice for females, I’d like to see what she can deliver for lads, wardrobe shopping this weekend…. Plz do one for lads too!!

    • Ferina says:

Thanks for the idea, Adam! Hmmm.. I’ve never done much men’s fashion but I’ll do my best to squeeze one in article with my schedule and all. :) *crossing fingers*

  21. Mikael James (UK) says:

I agree with Adam. I’m a lad and will proudly admit I take fashion advice from these guys and their contributors all the time… Oh my geeeod, the spring advice they gave was amazing. Found the sexiest shorts for my boyfriend.

  22. Carter Linblade says:

Lol even me mum is reading this site. I found this in her history on her tablet.. ha ha. Truly amazing dahhhlings. I’m a lad, and I’d wear that skirt in the summer. Tie it up a little bit, almost like you could wear it as a pair of skivvies. That’d be comfortable… if you catch my drift lol

  23. Mario Alvarez says:

Thank god there are so many people online right now. Love that skirt, whose going back to school shopping this weekend?
