Ryan Lochte crushes Michael Phelps in first race of London Olympics
LONDON, OLYMPICS: Many had their hopes and some had money on Michael Phelps dominating the first swimming race of the 2012 London Olympics, however today proved otherwise after Ryan Lochte delivered a punishing win in the 40 mi race in under 4 minutes and 15 seconds.
Locthe is now the first American to take home a gold at this years event, and is even on set to flirt with a world record.
Phelps, failed to delivered an expected win in the first race which disappointed many of his fans throughout the Olympics.
