Uncovered: James Holmes identified as not only med student but psychiatric patient to
AURORA, COLORADO: According to a court document filed this evening by James Holmes defense attorneys he at one point in time was a psychiatric patient at the University of Colorado.
The document was released after a package sent to Holmes purported psychiatrist discovered a package at the University that set off red-alarms and alerted police.
“The materials contained in that package include communications from Mr. Holmes to Dr. Fenton that Mr. Holmes asserts are privileged,” said the document filed by public defenders representing Holmes. “Mr. Holmes was a psychiatric patient of Dr. Fenton, and his communications with her are protected.”
