London Olympics: Protesting Shin to win medal after all

According to an official statement released by the FIE, officials have ultimately decided to award South Korea’s Shin  A-Lam a medal after all, for her devotion to her sport and respect for the rules of fencing.

“It will probably occur during the Olympics,” the spokesman added, giving the first official indication that the FIE recognized there was a problem with their timing systems.

The inscription is to say: “For aspiration to win and respect of the rules.”
