Michael Phelps now most decorated Olympian of all time
LONDON, ENGLAND: In the final 10 meters of his history making race — Michael Phelps delivered one last request to his teammates before embarking on a final swim that would make him the world’s most decorated Olympian of all time.
‘Give me a big lead’ ‘I want a big lead’ he told his teammates, and that’s what they did. Phelps entered the night with 17 medals, winning silver in the 200-meter butterfly, and gold in the 4×200 — each race just an hour apart.
Now, with more than 19 medals Mr Phelps rightfully holds the title of the most decorated Olympian in history (even by a females account).
