Riot: French youth open fire on police
AMIENS, FRANCE: According to officials, some 16 police officers were injured this evening after a group with an estimated 100 youth involved opened fire on authorities setting several buildings including a nursery ablaze.
“Sixteen police were injured, some by buckshot fire,” Thomas Lavielle, an official at the prefect’s office in the region, told a local television station.
