Ecuador: Neither confirms nor denies OKed Asylum for Assange
LONDON, ENGLAND: Officials in Ecuador apparently aren’t to thrilled with the fact that a possible leak inside the asylum, so not thrilled, they’veĀ reportedly denied a report that claims they OKed an asylum for controversial Wikileaks.org founder Julian Assange.
“When we make the decision, we’ll explain very clearly the reasons, the legal framework,” he said at a press conference, according to Reuters. The foreign minister agreed, saying, “Anonymous sources are useless.”
