Blatino Awards: Daily News descending on Atlanta on Aug 31st

We’d like to formally announce this year that we are attending the Blatino Awards ceremony on August 31st in the midst of black pride weekend.  Moreover, our African American writers and staffers will be in attendance.

I’m super excited as this is the first time I’ve ever been to American soil, and my first big event in America. I’m black, gay, however British so this should be interesting.

We won’t all be attending directly for the Blatino Awards,  since this will be the first time many of us have ever been to Atlanta we’re definitely looking forward to enjoying the massive celebrations we’ve been invited to.

So, I beg the question — is America ready for the invasion of Daily News?
