London Paralympics: Showcase begins with a bang
LONDON,ENGLAND: The Olympic stadium was filled with laughter, massive color, and even bigger.. umbrellas.Last night kicked off the opening ceremony of the paralympics, just weeks after the London 2012 Olympics ended.
During the opening ceremony, ceremony-goers were treated to a rare appearance by legendary scientist Stephen Hawking. Paralympics teamGB started up the ceremony by lighting up the cauldron in a new and unique way.
