Crime writer caught faking Amazon reviews

Best selling crime writer RJ Ellory, apparently was caught writing honorable reviews of his own books via Amazon.com whilst subsequently writing scathing ones of his competitors.

According to NEWSER, Ellory was caught in the hilarious act by fellow author  Jeremy Duns. The British author  was outed over the weekend after Duns tweeted that Ellory was writing purple-loving reviews of his own books, but writing mean ones about competitors.

Calls to Ellory were not returned.
