Double announcement: Daily News is moving, new sights on the horizon

Before life gets in the way, you find yourself wondering what you’d like to do before its too late. For me, that was Daily News. Walking into the next chapter of my life, I say thanks to each of you.
Over the past 4 months we have expanded into more than 4 countries, 2 different languages, and 7 additional companies on top of what has become Bazaar Daily News — however we can now confirm that later this month we are launching not one but two additional news outlets; one in an additional foreign language, and another for our readers.
We’d like to take a big moment and thank each and every one of you for making us the biggest teen news outlet in the world. No other outlet in the world is manned by teenagers, and is big as we are.! How cool is that!?
I’m also ready to reveal that after over a year of deliberation I am finally preparing to return to Britain taking Daily News home where it belongs with the rest of my staffers whom are already in the region. I look forward to becoming a Briton, and I hope we can takeover Britain like we did the U.S.
The outlet for our readers, which will be entitled ‘I-Daily’ is nonetheless a news outlet that will be monitored by Daily News staffers but not manned by Daily News staffers. We hope that many will join in on the fun and write your own news, submit videos, and share your stories. All are welcome.
Because of each of you we have remained an independent privately owned company that hasn’t ‘Sold out’ or ‘Gone Hollywood’ we have remained those teens who’ve kept to our promise to do this ourselves without the help of an outside party.
I’d personally like to say thanks to each of you who have made myself and my rag-tag team of friends the success that we are. We would be nothing without the millions of dedicated readers we have.
We hope that many of you stick with us throughout the years, as we have only a mission to grow bigger.

I love you Derick!!! You’ve inspired me so much, I hope to start my own project like you did before I finish high school
These are the kind of people I’d like my children to look up to. No scandals, no sex-tapes, no nude photographs, and a clean image. I commend you for your superior achievement in what has become Daily News.
I personally like Derick as a news personality. I like that he doesn’t go shopping himself around to every magazine, or website possible. He keeps the rotation of his brand very minimal, but still manages to promote and grow his website.
It’s truly inspiring to watch a high school student grow into a highly respected SELF MADE journalist without the help or financial support of others. You don’t find that often, you really don’t.
His high school record is even more impressive. National Scholar at 16, 2 time Blatino Award Nominee, AP/HONORS student too, I wish my kid had that kind of drive. I’d be one proud mama.
I’ve seen the DN headquarters in England now THAT is freaking motivation to work hard in life!!
My wife really likes Derick. Formerly a teacher of his during high school, hands down one of the hardest working kids she’s ever met.
There isn’t really something negative that a person could say about Derick. The comments on this forum pretty much sum it up. I’m teaching his English class this year, I look forward to having such an extraordinary student sitting in my class.
