Lineup: Array of celebs to receive Kennedy Center Honors
NEW YORK, NEW YORK: Yesterday evening the Kennedy Center for Performing Arts announced their latest slew of celebrities to be honored for their achievements in American culture, and guess who made the list? Some shocking names to say the least.
Dustin Hoffman, David Letterman, Buddy Guy, ballerina Natalia Makarova, and Led Zeppelin members John Paul Jones, Jimmy Page and Robert Plant will all be celebrated this December during a special ceremony
“With their extraordinary talent, creativity and tenacity, the seven 2012 Kennedy Center Honorees have contributed significantly to the cultural life of our nation and the world,” Kennedy Center Chairman David M. Rubenstein said in a statement.
