Democratic Republic of Congo: Scientists, according to CNN have remotely discovered what they’re calling a new species of monkeys that live deep in the heart of Congo away from the general world.
CNN notes that this specific species of monkey has not yet been seen, discovered, or physically seen by the rest of the world however has been relatively normal to the residents of Congo for some time.
We never expected to find a new species there,” says John Hart, the lead scientist of the project, “but the Lomami basin is a very large block that has had very little exploration by biologists.”
