Latest: Protests calm among Muslim world
BENGHAZI, LIBYA: According to officials, protests amongst the Muslim world have reportedly begun to calm down — although new tensions have rose against the United States and the controversial movie made by a man named ‘Nakoula Nakoula’ who was questioned by police yesterday in connection to the video.
U.S Secretary of State Hilary Rodham Clinton released a statement yesterday regarding further attacks on U.S Embassy’s:
“Reasonable people and responsible leaders … need to do everything they can to restore security and hold accountable those behind these violent acts,” she said Friday. “And we will … keep taking steps to protect our personnel around the world.”
