Breaking News: Chicago mayor to go to court, to force teachers back to school
CHICAGO, ILLINOIS: According to a statement released by Rahm Emanuel, the city of Chicago plans to file an injunction in circuit court first thing Monday morning in a final bid to force teachers to return to school
“It is over issues that are deemed by state law to be nonstrikable, and it endangers the health and safety of our children.” said the Mayor
“I will not stand by while the children of Chicago are played as pawns in an internal dispute within a union,” Emanuel said.
