Syrian novelist pens 100 days of horror
She’s been lauded as one of Syria’s most gifted novelists of all time, but that doesn’t mean that she doesn’t have those moments whereas certain situations make her feel dead.
First seen in CNN, Syrian novelist Samar Yazbek was apparently slapped by an officer that made her feel ‘dead’ while she was penning her 100 days of horror novel.
During the time, Yazbek says she kept a switchblade under her bra that she planned to use in defense although she knew it’d be laughable to most.
