Boyfriend arrested for beating college sweetheart to death inside dormitory

UPSTATE, NEW YORK:  NYPD officials tell Daily News that they have apprehended a 21 year old college student from Upstate New York after he reportedly confessed to brutally  beating his girlfriend to death while on campus.

Clayton S. Whitemore, 21, purportedly confessed to beating his girlfriend so ‘traumatically’ he left her for dead before attempting to flee the country, however authorities managed to catch the man before he was able to do so.

According to school admissions staffers, Whitemore apparently wasn’t a student at the school his girlfriend in fact did attend (she has yet to be identified).

The young woman’s death was placed to be around 1-3:00a.m this morning while Whitemore himself was found nearly 100 miles away just outside of Rochester, New York around 4a.m.
