One member of Pussy Riot freed
MOSCOW, RUSSIA: An appeals court has officially overturned the conviction of Yekaterina Samutsevich, a member of the now famous Russian punk band Pussy Riot after it was heard that she never actually performed a song critical of Vladamir Putin‘s presidency inside one of the countries most important cathedrals.
The court heard that Samutsevich was not involved in the flash mob style act after a video surfaced online revealing that she was not in the group of women who performed said act.
