Federal trial in gay hate crime begins: Sad
LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY: A federal trial in regards to a Kentucky gay hate crime has begun this week after two men reportedly beat the man severely inside Kingdom Come State Park while allegedly screaming slurs about his sexual orientation.
In opening trial statements, U.S attorney assistant Hyde Jenkins told the court that the Jenkin’s cousins [Anthony & David Jenkins] had previously attacked a person in 2009, and then in 2011, attacked Pennington to finish some ‘unfinished business’.
FBI agent Anthony M. Sankey reportedly told the courts that the women involved in the [Alexis Leann Comb Jenkins, Mable Ashley Jenkins] cheered on the attack shouting slurs like ‘Kill that faggot’
