A little note of dedication: To my mum
Over the years, people have consistently asked me What drove you to succeed in creating Daily News?. I never really thought about that, honestly, never. Last night, I had one of the greatest nights of my life — a night that made me realize I have found happiness, I have found a sense of security, but most importantly it made me realize what I am grateful for.
As my 18th b-day rolls around, soon followed by graduation, there is one person I’d like to thank for everything she’s done. My mum, a woman who has pushed me to succeed in being the best at everything I have done up to this point. At 17 years old, she has helped me (without realizing it) achieve some of my biggest dreams. Authoring Books, Soaring in my Education Career, Accepting who I am as a person, but most of all loving the person I have become today.
As a child, she made sure I excelled in school, which I loved. But she still made sure I had every opportunity to do big unimaginable things (Fun fact: I wrote and authored (still available in Barnes & Noble) my first book at the age of 14). If it wasn’t for my mum, I probably wouldn’t have lived a memorable childhood.
Thank you mum, for everything. I love you.
