The remains of deceased Mexican-American performer Jenni Rivera were discovered today among the wreckage from the plane crash that took her life just two weeks shy of Christmas. Rivera’s remains were identified by her brother who arrived in Monterrey earlier this evening to aide the investigation in the death of his sister.
Officials have not yet released a cause of the crash, Daily News reporters Xavier Huntsman & David Ross have descended upon Monterrey to obtain further information from Mexican authorities.
