Ouch: Redbox Instant Video, will be $8 a month just like Netflix

Who uses Redbox? This should come as no literal surprise to you. The Coinstar owned movie distributor revealed today that the co. has officially marked  completion of its ‘Redbox Instant’  service in a joint partnership with cell-phone giant Verizon Wireless.  Redbox says that the monthly fee for Instant (of course, after a month free) will be just the same as their chief rival Netflix.

Available movies in Instant will range from: Epix, Lionsgate, NBCUniversal, Paramount Pictures, Relativity, Sony Pictures, and Warner Brothers
