Court: Prank call nurse found hanging by co-workers
LONDON, ENGLAND: A court heard today that in the case of the Prank Call Nurse, Jacintha Saldanha, the nurse in question reportedly hung herself using a scarf in a hospital wardrobe last Friday after receiving a prank phone call from two Australian DJ’s while on duty at a radio station in Australia.
CNN notes that Saldanha left three notes, and is survived by her teenage sons. A clear cut reason for Saldanha’s suicide hasn’t yet been uncovered, although the DJ’s responsible (or alleged to be) for her suicide have already begun publicly apologizing for their mishap.
2DAYFM is currently being investigated by Australia’s media watchdog.
