Breaking News: Police respond to Conn. school shooting
CONNECTICUT, USA: A Conn. school district is on lockdown this afternoon following an unconfirmed shooting. Police officials confirmed to Daily News that units have been sent to the school district in question to check on the situation.
“Due to reports of a shooting as yet unconfirmed, the district is taking preventive measures by putting all schools in lockdown until we ensure the safety of all students and staff,” Newton Public School District secretary of superintendent Kathy June said in a statement.
