5 shot at Indiana gun show: Update
RALEIGH, NORTH CAROLINA: According to federal authorities more than 5 people remain hospitalized this evening after firearms in North Carolina, Indiana, and Ohio went off during gun shows earlier this afternoon. Gun show officials made very clear, according to CNN, that the situation was an ‘accident’.
Police say that a 36-year-old Wilmington man was apparently preparing to wield his gun when it accidentally went off near the entrance to the show.
No arrests have been made.
