Mississippi River shut down after oil spill
MISSISSIPPI, UNITED STATES: According to authorities, oil carrying into the Mississippi River yesterday spilled into the water shunning some 80,000 tons of oil into the waterways.
Police confirm to Daily News that the river has been shut down in an attempt to locate the source of the spill, and to prevent any contamination with humans.
Investigators are still trying to figure out what happened,” says a Coast Guard spokesperson
