Twinkies savior is near, and to the tune of $400million
Apparently Twinkies won’t see their demise. According to the Associated Press, the bankrupt treat owned by Hostess won’t come to a complete demise just yet. Apollo Management & C. Dean Mtropoulus reportedly bought the bankrupt company for a cool $400million.
Metro already owns several companies, including the iconic legacy of Pabst Blue Ribbon. TIME notes that PBR is in a bid to revive the once legendary sweet treat.
The bid beats an upcoming court-auction set in stone due to Hostess’s already having filed bankruptcy.
