For more than half-a-decade, many of us at Daily News have been under supervision of a bo.. I mean a man who was once a child.  Today, Daily News proudly celebrates the 18th birthday of our founder Derick.    Throughout our time as a team — we’ve witnessed triumphs,  trouble, and turmoil; but in the end we’ve always come out on top.

We wish you a very happy birthday man, and we love working with you. Your 18!
