Oscar-nominated actress Jessica Chastain apparently didn’t attend the memorial service to her father … oops, we mean step-father. According to NEWSER, Chastain didn’t attend the event due to not having spoken to her father in years and does not consider him her real father.

Michael Monasterio, a rock musician, had claimed on Facebook that he had been abandoned by Chastain’s mum and lost his two daughters in the process.
