Sitcom star Bonnie Franklin dead at 69
Some 40 years ago, a stark red-headed T.V star was born. Enter: Bonnie Franklin. Franklin burst onto the scene back in the 70′s alongside present day T.V icon Valerie Bertinelli in CBS’s ‘One Day at a Time’. According to Bangor Daily News, the T.V legend died this week at the age of 69 — following losing her battle with pancreatic cancer.
“Bonnie has always been one of the most important women in my life and was a second mother to me.”
“She taught me how to navigate this business and life itself with grace and humor, and to always be true to myself. I will miss her terribly,” Bertinelli added.
