Report: Erin Burnett may or may not be going to CNN’s morning show
What to believe, or what not to believe is the question here.According to The Huffington Post, CNN host Erin Burnett reportedly sat down with network president Jeff Zucker last night without her agent — in a final plea to hash out a deal to appear as a co-anchor alongside Andrew Cuomo on a localized morning show.
However, HuffPo notes that the deal likely has not gone through as CNN’s Zucker has apparently grown heavily tired of dealing with Burnett’s agent (who didn’t make an appearance at the most recent meeting). Sources told other media blogs that Burnett’s recent co-hosted coverage of Pope Benedict XVI’s resignation might have been a starting point for a hosting position, however nothing is confirmed at this point.
Calls to CNN & Burnett are pending.
