Veronica Mars film very likely: Kickstarter
It’s almost official here, at least according to the Kickstarter campaign that was launched just last night and has already raised nearly $3,000,000. Who remembers the iconic T.V series Veronica Mars? Yup, it’s coming to a theatre near you.
The film’s director Rob Thomas launched a fundraising campaign last night in hopes of turning his series into a film.
He writes:
Almost since Veronica Mars went off the air, there’s been talk of making a movie. In that span, I’ve taken different tactics in dealing with the question of whether it might happen. To be clear, I’ve always wanted to make a Veronica Mars movie. I love writing these characters and working with these actors. Kristen Bell has always wanted to make the movie.
